In some cases accurate ordering of the installation site is required to place an order with subsequent installation of 3D tiles. Thus, if necessary, we provide services on dimensioning on site, in order to avoid errors in the subsequent installation.
It should be recalled that the glass-wooled 3D tiles can not be trimmed or drilled during the installation process, and therefore, with incorrect measurements, such a tile may not fit in the right place, which will cause a number of inconveniences.
In the case of ordinary glass - tiles can be trimmed or drilled at the place of installation.
In the case of self-assembly, if you are sure that there is no need for accurate measurements, you can read below about the options for mounting 3D tiles and perform the installation yourself or with the help of your tiling specialists.

Mounting of 3D tiles
Stacking on silicone sealant.
3D tiles and tiles from patterned glass, as well as glass wall panels, are divided into several types relative to the rear surface of the product. This page is about white smooth coating, which has a minimum level of strength and is designed for mounting on a neutral acid-free silicone sealant, you can know it under a different name, "Aquarium Silicone". Installation:
1. Prepare the surface to be mounted. It should be flat and smooth. For better adhesion of tiles to the base, it is better to prepare the surface on which the primer will be installed.
2. Apply silicone to the tile and gently spread it over the entire surface, pay special attention to the edges.
3. Press the tile to the base on which the styling is done and fix it for a while. If the laying is done on a vertical surface, and the tile has no foundation, you can fix it temporarily with an adhesive tape. To ensure an accurate distance between the tiles, you can use mounting spacers (crosses).
4. After the stacking process is complete, a standard or acrylic grout is used for the joints.
Mounting on fasteners.
Installation of 3D panels and panels from patterned glass, as well as kitchen aprons, can be carried out both on silicone sealant and on special mounting brackets. We recommend using mounting brackets for large panels, since their weight is quite large and a more reliable fastening method for quick mounting. If you chose this method of fixing, do not forget to tell our manager when ordering, because in this case you will receive your panel with special mounting holes at the corners through which the panel will be fixed to the wall. Also, there is the possibility of fastening the panels to mounting brackets, which are installed along the perimeter of the panel and do not require drilling of mounting holes. Please note that the mounting method for mounting hardware is the most reliable for heavy panels, unlike attaching to glue mixtures.
Stacking on Ceresit.
A new generation of 3D tiles, as well as tiles from patterned glass, has a new resistant coating with increased adhesion to adhesive materials. This coating has increased strength and moisture resistance, while this tile is designed for laying on the glue for tiles and glass mosaic Ceresit Cm115. The laying works are carried out in the same way as conventional ceramic tiles. Stacking:
1. Prepare the surface to be mounted. It should be flat and smooth. For better adhesion of tiles to the base, it is better to prepare the surface on which the primer will be installed.
2. Apply a solution of glue for glass mosaic Ceresit Cm115 evenly to the wall and spread it with a notched trowel.
3. Press the tile to the base on which the styling is done and fix it for a while. To ensure an accurate distance between the tiles, you can use mounting spacers (crosses).
4. After the stacking process is complete, a standard or acrylic grout is applied, after 24 hours from the moment of installation.
Additional information
Please note that 3D tiles and glass floor tiles made of tempered glass have increased strength and can not be machined with cutting tools. The wall tiles can be cut. For cutting 3D tiles we supply tiles from non-hardened glass.
